Chabad Friends Hosts Omakase Night for Columbia Students

In the face of rising antisemitism on campus, Chabad Friends brought something special to Columbia University students: community, comfort, and connection - one piece of sushi at a time.

Chabad Friends came together with the Chabad of the Upper West Side in NYC, and brought the chefs from our kosher omakase restaurant, Fins & Scales, to serve up an incredible experience just for Columbia students- turning a shared meal into a moment of Jewish pride, strength and belonging.

This was just the beginning of showing the world exactly what Chabad Friends is all about: welcoming Jews back through meaningful, modern, and elevated experiences.
